Hi.

Welcome to our blog. We document our adventures in travel, places, and people. Hope you have a nice stay!

Greece, The Cyclades, June 2025

Greece, The Cyclades, June 2025

The Lesieurs, Lecointres, and Fays boarded The Kybalion (a Dufour 47’) in The Port of Lavrio near Athens.

Our 3 captains: François, Pierre and Hervé

We started sailing to Kythnos, the island of hospitality and simplicity where we spent the night. Anchor problems anyone??? We ended up making friends with a helpful crew on the boat next to us…

The next morning, we headed south to Serifos, it is the rockiest island in the Cyclades. We enjoyed its serene and raw beauty. We docked in Livadi where Caro & Hervé celebrated their anniversary! Yeah!

Next stop Sifnos (located between Serifos and Milos) where we stayed 2 nights in Marina Platys Gyalos. We rented a car to visit this very picturesque and authentic island. We loved the capital, Apollonia, with its winding streets with boutiques and bars, Kastrois, the medieval charming village and the panoramic views that Artemonas offers.

We ventured to Vathy Bay a very shielded cove with a cute beach: Vroulidia.

On our way to Kimôlos, we stopped for lunch in Polýaigos. Its name means "many goats", since it is inhabited only by goats. Beautiful turquoise waters and secluded white-sand beaches.

Happy captains! And very happy crew!

Kimolos

Our 4th captain Jacques arrived to meet us in Milos

The Ancient Theater and Catacombs of Milos are overlooking Klima village, originally built in the 3rd century BC (Hellenistic era) and later rebuilt during the Roman era.

On the north shore, Arakiniko Beach, a white rock moon-like appearance, formed by volcanic eruptions and wind erosion.

A quite challenging crossing from Milos to Nomenvasia!

In The Peloponnese at Nomenvasia. It is massive rock separated from the mainland, a stunning medieval fortress town. offering dramatic Byzantine and Venetian architecture, and breathtaking sea views. Founded in the 6th century, it was a vital Byzantine trade hub,

Kiparisi, we are still in The Peloponesse

Spetses, picturesque and car-free island

Hydra, the girls went shopping!

Not always easy to secure the anchorage…

Poros has a quiet atmosphere. The clock tower offers a 360-degree view of the harbor and neighboring Peloponnese.

It is HOT!!!

Sailing to Cape Sounion

Our last night at Cape Sounion near Athens with its stunning ruins of the 5th-century BC Temple of Poseidon

Some of us enjoy a good snack… While some of us keep it clean…

Bye bye Greece, BFF, amazing ambiance and even greater laughs! Until next year…
